Yes, and Xestro’s electronic prescribing is free, it connects with MIMS but can also be used for compounded/custom prescribing and includes real-time prescription monitoring (for controlled medicines).

Does Xestro offer online bookings?

Yes, Xestro offers online booking through an integration with HealthEngine

Can more than one staff member at a time edit / view patient records?

Yes, although some other software programs allow only one person to access a patient record at a time, in Xestro multiple staff members can edit and view a patient’s records simultaneously.

What’s Xestro’s letter writing / word-processing system like?

Xestro’s word-processor is recognised as ‘best in class’ among PMS’s by our clients; no problems adding headers, footers, logos and images to letters. Flexible templates under your complete control. It’s quick & comprehensive.

Does Xestro offer Telehealth?

Telehealth is integrated into Xestro, allowing connections to patients/clients straight from your appointment book, no need for specialised apps/software. Meets Australian privacy standards.

Does Xestro connect to my path lab and radiologist for electronic downloads?

Yes, Xestro has existing integrations for electronic downloads with most of the bigger pathology and radiology groups and firms in Australia. If we do not have an existing integration with your specific pathologist/radiologist already, we’ll work with them to get it set up.

Does Xestro integrate with Medicare/DVA and Private Health Insurance / Eclipse?

Yes, Xestro integrates with Medicare and DVA as well as with all Australia’s Private Health Insurers for inpatient billing through the Eclipse system.

Does Xestro integrate with Dragon Dictate / Naturally Speaking?

Yes, because Xestro is web/browser based, it integrates with Dragon Dictate/Naturally Speaking, as well as the in-built voice-recognition software in Windows and macOS/Apple.

I’ve heard that Xestro has an integrated dictation/transcription service, can I still use my existing typist / dictation service or voice-recognition system when using Xestro?

Yes, although we do offer a typist-based transcription service (using our free Apple iOS / Android App), you can continue to use your existing transcription service when using Xestro.
